The Afghan Islamic and Cultural Center of Hamilton was established in 2006 as a none-profit organization. AICCH has been serving the needs of Muslims in Hamilton area as well as throughout Ontario. AICCH was founded in purpose of emboding the Afghan Muslim Community’s search and struggle to find a place to belong and keep the unity; in addition to that a place for introducing Islamic thoughts, humanity values and cultural values.
The story begins in 2006, when a group of charitable people gathered and cooperated to start the Islamic community center from zero. It culminates as AICCH that has become more than a place of worship but Community Center and a beacon for Islam in Hamilton.
The community grown on 2010 so that we were able to have a physical place and in 2016 we were able to increase our size by getting a new bigger physical place. Today, the Community successfully carries out its own youth programs, periodic publications, library and various other functions that are part-in-parcel with the operation of an efficient organization.

The Executive Committee of the AICCH would be remiss if it did not recognize the tireless efforts of the volunteers that serve the Community on a continual basis. Furthermore, the AICCH is extremely fortunate to be comprised of a membership that both demands the best and provides the requisite support to deliver.
